Welcome to my graduation project, with which I completed my Bachelor’s degree at AMFI.
There’s a magic in girlhood—a fleeting moment where time stops, and the world belongs only to us. As children, we dressed up as princesses, draped in tulle and satin, spinning in front of mirrors, lost in our own fairy tales. Now, as young women on the edge of adulthood, that magic still lingers in the moments we share—getting ready together, swapping clothes, trying on makeup, whispering secrets. The ritual of dressing up is more than just fashion; it’s a bond, a nostalgia-soaked act of friendship that connects us to our past and to each other.
But growing up doesn’t mean letting go of that magic. My collection is for the girls who are stepping into adulthood without fear—who know that becoming a woman doesn’t mean losing their sense of wonder, joy, or playfulness. Inspired by the elegance of Princess Diana, the fantasy of Disney princesses, and the playfulness of girlhood, it reinterprets these influences into modern, wearable pieces that embrace change rather than resist it. The designs transition from cozy, oversized silhouettes to voluminous gowns, mirroring the process of getting dressed—comfortable, effortless, and then suddenly, magical.
Through textile manipulations, knitwear, and exaggerated proportions, I explore the in-between state of finding identity—balancing the carefree joy of childhood with the growing confidence of adulthood. But this collection is more than just clothes; it’s a celebration of female friendships, the people who shape us and make us feel safe in our transformation. It reminds us that we don’t have to face the next stage alone—our connections, our memories, and our sense of self come with us.
This is a love letter to every girl who has ever twirled in front of a mirror, to the ones who still believe in dressing up, and to the friendships that make life feel like a fairytale. Because growing up isn’t about losing yourself—it’s about discovering all the new ways you can shine.
